RICA Engineering from the Netherlands is the world wide dealer of the NIRA edc/cr stand alone system for diesel engined race cars.
The NIRA edc/cr is a stand alone engine control unit specially developed by NIRA Motorsport from Sweden for diesel racing cars. The NIRA edc/cr is a plug and play system and will work with any modern diesel engine up to 8 cylinders. It works with both solenoid and piëzo injectors. The edc/cr comes complete with a software application for tuning the engine. At the moment, the NIRA edc/cr is one of only a few stand alone ECUs on the market for diesel engines and is the perfect tool for tuning all highly specialized diesel racing cars.
